The island is governed by Lord Devereaux, who is often away on the mainland due to business, as is his wife who often accompanies him. They have three children- a son and two daughters; Adrien, their son, has just finished at university and has returned to learn how to run the island. Loxsley Island is a great tourist resort during the summer, and the only hotel is usually packed and the beach is always very popular. The time when these events occur is early twentieth century, and the fashions range between 1920s flappers, the 1930s curvy silks and the 1940s practical chic. Enjoy your stay! |
