The Rules

General Rules:

# Show respect for all members and their views, espescially the admins.
# This site is rated PG-13. Keep all your posts on or below that level. Anyone caught doing otherwise without properly marking the thread will have their account suspended for one (1) week. As much as possible, keep your posts tasteful and appropriate for all ages. This involves language- no swearing, no blaspheming, no extreme or graphic violence, if your couples wish to get intimate, then pm the admins for a password to be put on their bedrooms.
add A second offense will get you suspended for one (1) month. A third one means a permanent ban. This applies to all major offenses.
# If you have any OOC (Out-of-Character) disagreements with another member, please refrain from scandalizing the entire forum. As much as possible, keep your disagreements low-key. If someone on the boards is giving you a hard time, PM The Admin or any of the staff members.
As a better rule, avoid any arguments. Fighting on the boards is a major offense.
# Keep active. Once you join these boards, you've instantly signed a contract with us. We do not expect you to participate in every single social activity, but at least keep your account alive. IF YOU WISH TO ADVERTISE YOUR SITE THEN YOU MUST SIGN UP! If you just appear as a guest, to advertise, there are rpg advertising boards for that, this is a site for MEMBERS ONLY!
# No God-modding, aka: controlling other's characters.
# No 'matrix moves', if you get shot by another character, you cannot dodge bullets, but you can discuss with the member who you are rping with how fatal the wounding is.
# 3 lines per post. NOT 3 sentences, 3 lines. Try to think how they are feeling, what they are doing, looking at, wearing, as well as saying. No essay posts either- aka: over 300 words, it is a nuisance for other members to read and makes them feel under pressure to write as much when they may not have time to.
#YOU MUST READ THE CHARACTER AND CULTURE RULES AS WELL!

Character rules:

# Each member is allowed up to 10 characters each. It is not necessary to create the entire family of one character if this is not desired.
# There must be an equal number of males to females.
# No 'perfect characters', we all have flaws. Try to make your characters as unique and realistic as possible.
# Your character signature MUST be in the time period to keep in with the themes of the times. Sigs should not exceed 500 wide by 300 tall.
